Bravia (stylized as BRAVIA) is a television brand owned by Sony Visual Products Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation. "Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture" is its backronym. Since 2005, all Sony high-definition flat-panel LCD televisions in North America have had the BRAVIA logo. BRAVIA replaces the "LCD WEGA" that Sony utilized for LCD TVs until the summer of 2005. BRAVIA was converted into a subsidiary rather than just a brand of products in 2014 as part of Sony President & CEO Kasuo Hirai's ambitions to turn Sony around.
That said, this is the Home Theater Control app where support has been added for the most recent audio systems. This application is only suitable for use on BRAVIA televisions.
